MONTANA STATE FAIR FOREVER FAIR PASS
OFFICIAL RULES
1.NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
2.Prize: Winner will receive one (1) Forever Fair Pass (“Grand Prize”) badge which entitles them and three (3) others admission, four (4) seats to each Night Show, four (4) General Admission seats to each performance of the Big Sky Pro Rodeo Roundup and parking. Weekly winners will be chosen at the discretion of the Sponsor to win prizes stated at that time.
3.Sponsor: The Montana State Fair Forever Fair Pass Promotion (the “Contest”) is sponsored by the Montana ExpoPark and Montana State Fair (“Sponsor”), which is solely responsible for the Contest. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, you understand you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook. All inquires in relation to the Contest should be directed to the Sponsor, not Facebook. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
4.Eligibility: Subject to additional restrictions below, the Montana State Fair Forever Fair Pass Promotion is open to residents of the State of Montana who are 18 years or older at the time of entry and who have not won a prize, and do not reside in the same household as a person who has won a prize, from Montana State Fair or Montana ExpoPark within thirty (30) days prior to the start of this Contest. Employees of Montana ExpoPark, KRTV Communications, Inc. or Cordillera Communications, or of any of their respective affiliated companies or advertising or promotional agencies, and employees of any other Great Falls, Montana area television or radio station(s), and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
5.How to Enter: The contest will begin at 12:00 a.m. MST on 3/1/2012 and end at 11:59 p.m. MST on 6/30/2012 (the “Contest Period”). The Administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest. To be considered for prizes, eligible entries must be submitted by those connected to (“Like”) the Montana State Fair page and through the Contest application on Facebook during the Contest Period. To do so, visit the Site at http://www.facebook.com/mtstatefair and follow the onscreen prompts to “Like” the page and submit the required information. Entrant must acknowledge eligible age and acceptance of these Contest Terms and Conditions, as directed. No other method of entry will be accepted.
6.Limits on Entries: Maximum of one (1) entry per person/email address/user account will be accepted PER DAY and each Entrant is only eligible to win one (1) Weekly Prize and one (1) Grand Prize in this Contest. Entries received in excess of the stated limit will be void. Completed Entries must be entered electronically during the Contest Period.
7.Internet Entries: Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, postage-due, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest.
8.Winner Selection: One (1) Montana State Fair Forever Pass Winner will be announced following the end of the Contest Period. Weekly winners will be announced on a weekly basis. The winning Entries will be selected randomly by Sponsor from all valid Entries received. The selection is final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
9.Winner Notification and Acceptance: Winners will be notified during the first week of July 2012. To claim prize, each winner must personally visit Sponsor’s offices at 400 3rd Street NW, Great Falls, MT 59404 within five (5) business days after notification (office visit must be between the hours of 8:00 a.m. MST and 5:00 p.m. MST, Monday through Friday) and must present a valid photo identification. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. If for any reason a winner decides not to accept the awarded prize, the winner will be required to sign a release form acknowledging that they are forfeiting the prize. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of personal delivery or date of postmark as well as adhere to all further Rules & Regulations pertaining to the winner of the Grand Prize. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release within ten (10) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the prize will be awarded to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation.
10.Participation: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsor.
11.Disclaimer/Release: By entering, participants acknowledge and agree that the Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of the foregoing companies (collectively, the “Contest Entities”), will not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession/use and/or misuse of any prize(s), the theft of prizes, travel to and from any prize-related activity, participation in the Contest, printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any malfunctions of the telephone network, computer Internet system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, forged, illegible, or mechanically duplicated, or entries otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Contest Entities are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to any participant’s or third person’s computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify the Contest if, at its sole discretion, it determines that for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or fraud, technical failures, printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any other unanticipated causes or occurrences have compromised the fairness or integrity of the Contest. In the event the Contest is terminated prior to the stated end date, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize(s) in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received as of the date of termination.
12.Winner’s List: Once winner has been determined and verified, a winner list will be available on the Montana State Fair Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/mtstatefair.
